ODDCORE turns liminal-space horror into a fast, pressure-heavy roguelike shooter built around momentum instead of cheap scares. The five-minute timer completely changes the pacing, forcing aggressive routing, fast combat decisions, and constant resource management without slowing runs down with filler downtime. Gunplay feels sharp, movement scales nicely as runs evolve, and the atmosphere supports the gameplay instead of interrupting it. Enemy variety and long-term encounter depth still need work in Early Access, but the core loop already has that dangerous “one more run” pull.
